What should I expect from your boys on Thursday, Craisin?

Inconsistent young team that loves to run. Defense gets real spotty but at least they're resilient and will fight back when down. If Josh Smith doesn't get in foul trouble, they might have a chance at the upset. I expect a 10-15 pt loss.

Jereme Richmond was the best player on the court last night and I didn't think it was particularly close. He's going to be amazingly good by the end of the year. Bruce just needs to put him out there and let him go. Things flowed so much better when he and McCamey were out there together.

how many offensive rebounds will we give up against OSU, 15? they looked scary against a big, athletic FSU.

what do you guys think about head's playing time, seems like we never see him.

I'm all for giving Head more minutes, just not sure where they can come from right now.

I agree, I watched the game this afternoon (had a final last night), and Richmond looked great. The kid can do anything he wants on the offensive end of the basketball court, and once his shots start falling he is going to be close to unstoppable.

sullinger got swatted a lot. singleton shut him down. osu is stacked though.

and head is good, next year he'll emerge. he is what we thought legion would be, he can actually dribble the ball.

It's scary to think what the back court will look like in 2 years if all these guys stick around. I hope they run and run and then run some more. DJ, Paul, Head, Bertrand, Abrams, Henry, that's just a lot of talent and they're all really athletic.

they'll take a step back without dmac, but paul will probably be running the point. and if he wants to play in the league, that's where he will be.

could be the next great point guard at illinois. and then abrams of course. and then, hopefully austin.

Still don't think Knight was the one who encouraged Illinois to miss a free throw up 3 points?

You're a good color guy Bobby, but learn to count.

Was Bob Knight always the worst color analyst to ever have a microphone? In addition to spending 15 seconds explaining why a 3 point lead was better than a 2 point lead, he just advocated missing a FT with 3 seconds left when up 3 since VT wouldn't have a chance.

Very encouraging second half for Indiana. After the abysmal first half, the past two years IU would have lost by 25-30. They made a big run but couldn't get over the hump. Much improved team this year. I do wonder why if you make a run with Jones on the bench (and Pritchard for the most part), you sub him/them back into the game late . . . Oh well.

Never once doubted Purdue would win that game. Too tough and experienced (at least in key spots) to not come back after a loss and win that one.

Well, I wasn't watching until the last few seconds and overtime (IU was on, you know?). So I'm ignorant as to how it occurred, but fully expected them to win the game as I followed the score.

I just wish IU would decide to actually show up at tip off for once. They have started slow in all 7 games so far.

penn state shot barely over 20% from the field, and made 3 out of 27 threes. everyone not named talor battle shot below 15% and scored 18 points.

you aren't going to win many games that way.
