i so hope that the uk program goes down in a towering inferno while calipari walks out the front door and into an NBA coaching position. it would serve the win-at-all-costs kentucky fans right. that is to say, all of them.

AFTER ALL, IT'S NOT CALIPARI'S FAULT!

I'm hearing Josh Selby might not be elligible. Brandon Rush and Darrell Arthur say he has to be pretty stupid to not qualify.

Brandon Rush and Darrell Arthur say so through their interpreters.

I bet he's cleared though.

Why do I have the feeling that all the sarcastic Calipari comments are directed at me? Note that nothing in the article mentions Calipari except at the very end where they list out things that have nothing to do with this. Let's wait until this investigation is over before passing judgment.

Sounds like Mizzou and Georgetown are going to play in KC on November 30th

in the tourney they always do here?

I'm not sure. As far as I know it's just a single game, but the details aren't released yet.

Sweet, I hope its not part of it. That way I get to see that game and 4 other good teams.

apparently, the sun-times has at least 3 sources for the claim made in the article and now the davis family is suing them. calipari and kentucky have got to be holding their breath that they just let it be.

it's been guessed that 2 of the sources are boeheim and roy williams, and the 3rd is oliver purnell. although i would assume that illinois could probably be questioned about it, too. they were out of the running real fast, to the point where davis was seemingly willfully ignoring them.

i'm imagining the davis family wasn't discreet or savvy enough to play the game and the only school reckless enough to roll the dice was kentucky.

I have pretty much the same take on it. My only question is if OSU will somehow end up being implicated in this.

i don't think that they have much fear, either, just more than kentucky. this kid could have been had by the highest bidder, but the more money involved, the harder it is to hide. 200,000 is a hard figure to launder.

I have a hard time believing that Roy Williams and Jim Boeheim are going behind the scenes to some reporter from the sun-times as sources. But someone from their programs, that I could get behind.

I'm sure they could have had one of their assistants do it. Face it, the coaches who are playing by the rules have to hate what Calipari is doing.

What a name. lol

Apparently he is going to commit to Indiana tomorrow. I was watching some video clips of him, at the very least he has some coordination which is something Bawa and Jobe sorely lacked. His rankings vary right now but I think he will end up at least being Top 100 on the major services.

Also he is friends with Hanner Perea who is a high rated PF for class of 2012. :good:

Minnesota

Wake Forest

Northwestern/GA Tech - I don't have a clue what GT looks like. I'd lean towards NU.

Ohio State

Clemson

Illinois

Boston College

Wisconsin

Purdue

Maryland

Duke

Moral of the story, the bottom of the Big 10 is awful.

Hey man, Penn State hoops might not show up for anything else, but the B10/ACC Challenge, they do.
