Minnesota has to be the most likely team with a bye (assuming they get one and don't choke the last couple weeks) to be a one-and-done in the playoffs.

 

I think this weekend proved that the NFC (and AFC I suppose) is WIDE open.

 

I agree in that I don't think there is an overwhelming favorite in either league but I have a lot more faith in Indy, San Diego and New Orleans winning their games than Minnesota, which appears to have benefited from an extremely weak schedule.

the only one you could argue wasnt crap was the first one, and that's only if you didn't actually see the game. he tried to throw like 8 picks that night. the last 2 were just crap.

Against Cincy's pass defense last week most definitely was not a crap game. Especially with his #2 WR out. Tonight he really wasn't bad. For some reason we left our tackles one on one with Peppers all night and he had zero time. The 3 meh games have come against 3 of the top 10 pass defenses in the league, two of them on the road.

 

That was a horrendous performance tonight. Awful in all aspects. Dominated up front on both sides. Secondary was terrible.

Let me see if I've got this right. There are currently 6 7-7 teams in the AFC. The Titans hold the tiebreaker over 2 of them: Houston and Miami.

 

Thus, for the Titans to make the playoffs, this all must happen:

 

Ravens or Broncos lose out (to go 8-8)

 

All of the Jets, Steelers and Jaguars must lose one of two

 

Is this right? Or does more need to happen?
