This has been pretty impressive by the Bulls so far. Granted, it's against a banged up team that's coming off a game last night; but still.

If I'm not mistaken, the Bulls are the only Eastern Conference team to have defeated all of the top 4 seeds. None of the top teams have even defeated the other top 4 teams.

Does this mean anything? Not really but it's frustrating to see the Bulls have beaten the best teams and they still have a losing record.

They're also the only team in the NBA with a home loss to the Nets.

Good to see that we can still beat Boston without Garnett (and Wallace). They are such a mediocre team without Garnett in there...he's the difference maker for them.

And to blow a 35 point lead.

You are right..the closest is Denver who has beaten Atlanta, Cleveland and Orlando (actually are 3-1 against those teams) but has not yet played Boston. Orlando is the closest top 4 team to beat the other 3 teams, they have beaten Boston and Atlanta, but are 0-1 vs. Cleveland.

Go [expletive] yourselves. I wanted to enjoy this.

Does it help if I tell you, the Celtics weren't at full strength?

Obviously. NOW GET OUT OF MY FACE BEFORE I FIGHT YOU WITH FISTS.

When are the Celtics ever at full strength? Aren't they contractually required to have one player carried off the court every game so he can valiantly return 2 minutes later?

Do the Bulls always play defense like they did in the first half or was Boston just beat? I don't know how many lazy passes I saw Rondo throw, and Kendrick Perkins was getting destroyed in the paint.

Bulls now have the second best road record in their division.

That is both surprising and encouraging.

Is it really encouraging at all when it's 4-13? The fact that their division manages to contain three worse road teams doesn't make me feel any better. Just saying.

Basically, that was just my semi-condescending way of letting you know they're 4-13 on the road.

Why would they hold off a trade that would make the team better?

They seem to have been pretty content to wait the past few years when they started playing better. They should have added Gasol a few years ago, but fell in love with their own roster. They were linked with Amar'e and Garnett at one point too.

I guess it's just surprising, then 8-)

If a trade is going to obviously improve the team they're going to do it. Sometimes deals just fall through. Yeah, teams often overrate their own guys, but the only big deal we've heard rumored this year is for Bush and it's pretty hard to imagine they'd turn it down along the lines that have been discussed unless Toronto is asking for the moon.

They were never going to make a trade to make the team better right now, per se. They'll make a trade to put them in a better position for 2010 (or that will acquire a 2010 player for them, if that opportunity presents itself). That's what this year is all about and no amount of success this year is going to change that.

If LA is going to give them Bynum, I can't imagine Toronto getting a better return than that. Coupled with the fact that the Raptors pretty much know he's gone, I have a strong feeling that deal will go down if it is, in fact, being discussed. Man, that would make for a ridiculously scary LA team. I'd instantly put a lot of money on the Lakers winning the championship if it does.

In case nobody has noticed, since December 1st, in 22 games (a pretty solid sample size IMO) Rose has averaged the following

20.5 ppg on .472 shooting, 6.5 apg (and rising now that his teammates can actually make shots), and 4 rpg

And he's actually been even better in Jan than he was in Dec

Those January averages (7 games) are...

20.7 ppg on .512 shooting, 7.4 apg, and 4.4 rebounds
