LeBron's going to be compared to Jordan no matter where he's at. That's just the way it is. I don't buy that excuse for not coming to Chicago.

FWIW, LBJ has said he likes the number 6 (his number on the Olympic team) and he said he'd be open to switching his jersey number later in his career.

ESPN's front page article is talking about ranking NBA Team's futures for the next 3 years.

The Bulls finished 7th in the rankings, propped up heavily by their players (7th/30), their money situation (4th I believe), and market (6th).

This team can't get a decent look on offense with Kirk running the point. I have no idea why Vinny insists on yanking Rose halfway through the first quarter and giving Hinrich 10 minutes of burn but he does it every game.

No way. You have to tip it. That shouldn't count.

.3 is enough time for a quick catch and shoot.

It's going to be a judgment call at the replay here, though.

It's so close.

I didn't think that deserved to be overturned. Brutal.

It sure seems like the Bulls have spent the better part of the last half-decade paying for every call MJ got.

No, it really doesn't.

Tough to lose it on a call like that, but only one angle made it look like he might have gotten it off (from the front) and that was due to the ball obscuring his fingers. That top angle going frame by frame makes it pretty clear his fingertips were still on the ball when the buzzer sounded.

It's obvious that the Bulls aren't "there" yet, but I'm really enjoying watching this team.

I don't think there's any possible way they could have overturned it, but they did. Unfortunate to say the least.

The call should stand unless there is indisputable evidence that he didn't get the shot off. And since there isn't any indisputable evidence to prove it (and don't get me wrong the call could go either way, but they DID rule it good and by definition to overturn it there has to be indisuptable evidence, which there wasn't), the refs decided that the Nuggets "won" this game. By the way it sound after the game, I believe the Bulls will protest this call.

Yeah, that was [expletive]. It may have been good or it may have not been good. But there was no way that video was conclusive, which means you have to stay with the original call.

What RedFlash said is absolutely right. I've been ranting about this for years. Refs (NFL too) do not follow the correct rules when reviewing plays. They are supposed to overturn due to indisputable evidence of the contrary. Instead the refs make judgment calls when the replays are inconclusive. That defeats the point of a replay, which is to overturn obvious bad calls. By the rulebook, the Bulls should have won this game, and because of the refs, they did not.

We'll move on and be fine, but it sucks to see a win given to you, and then taken away. A 5-2 start with the schedule we've had would have been tremendous.

UMFan, what you said is why I'm kind of not in favor of college football's current replay system anymore. I've seen so many calls get reviewed and incorrectly overturned that we might as well stick with the coaches deciding when to do a review.
