Going to the game this weekend as of a little while ago... My first Bears game ever... can't wait

I can't believe you have never been to a game. Are you tailgating to get the full day experience? Regardless, have a great time.

I'm going to my first regular season NFL game. Chargers @ Steelers Sunday night. I have been to a couple preseason games, including seeing Payton and the Bears at Notre Dame Stadium in the 80s.

Thanks.

No tailgating. Friend lives in a building pretty close (like LSD and Randolph) so we're going to take a cab from there. Will probably get there early to check out as much of the stadium as possible.

Heh, my cousins live in one of those buildings there. Enjoy!

I've yet to go to a Bears game either. I'm hopeful for Bears-49ers in November.

This week's been pretty rough at work. I could use a nice, easy, 20 point Bears win here. I don't need any more drama 8-)

Anyone wanna bet how many times the failed Olympic bid will be mentioned in this game's broadcast? I'm guessing 10. 25 if its Joe Buck.

I just went surfing around some Lions blogs and some phrases I came across when talking about the game:

The Lions are of the belief they can turns things around in a positive direction, gain some traction with a few more wins. It can start to steamroll the right way if the Lions can pick up a road win at Soldier Field.

In the end, I believe that this game will be much closer than one woudl expect on paper, since I am becoming a firm believer in the current direction of the Lions organization.

The Lions are finally proving themselves to be a force in the NFL. Expect the victories to start piling up, beginning this Sunday against the Bears. Lions 35 Bears 13.

Ok, ok I madet he last one up. But they seem to be getting a ton of confidence from winning 1 game over a bad football team. I am really hoping the Bears come out strong and dominate the Lions like they should. I'm starting to have a weird feeling about this game. Not that we are going to lose but that they might surprise us and keep the game very close, proving that their rebuilding plan is much further along then we think.

I don't have that weird feeling about this game. No matter the reason, but if Jason Campbell can find himself with 340 yards passing game against the Lions (note: I realize Portis sucked, and the Skins could developed the running game), then Cutler should slice up the Lions defense like a surgeon. The only person that will stop Cutler from making that happening is Ron Turner. So I kind of expecting to see Cutler with a 24-32 300+ yard day with 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Statistically speaking, Forte has shown small improvements from week to week, so I see Matt improving this week to a game of say 23 carries for 90 yards and maybe a TD.
