Its rewarding to one of Hendry' 1st rounders finally make it but, I'm not expecting much from Colvin. He was awful in the minors and I don't believe he'll do much as major leaguer - quite a few K's, no plate discipline, no power nor much of an average.

I wouldn't say he was awful in the minors, but he didn't display numbers that would justify where he was drafted or support arguments that he's poised to be a quality starting OF.

I'm kind of surprised they aren't trying to get Wells extra rest, after his crappy outing last time on 4 days rest, and all the innings he's racked up this year. They go from using Harden on normal rest far too often to giving him what appears likely to be far more rest than necessary. Why not put Samardzija/Marshall here, let Harden pitch on 6 days rest tomorrow and Wells on 6 days the game after that?

Wow, I feel bad for Bush right now. They need to pull him because something is certainly not right. Letting him continue to pitch is going to really hurt Bush either mentally or physically.

Ever since Bradley was suspended we've played pretty well.

Facing a couple of pitchers [expletive] the bed definitely helps.

Classy avatar you have there.

To be fair, the sombrero's a bit much, but with all the community involvement Pujols does, how do you know Pujols has not in fact taken a lawn mower and mowed his lawn?

Good point. He's a classy guy like that and a sombrero would just practical doing all that hard work in the hot sun, which is something that someone as brilliant as Pujols would realize.

I love Albert Pujols.

Gotta love BR's "Today in baseball history"

1925 - Burleigh Grimes of the Brooklyn Robins accounts for seven outs in just three plate appearances. The Dodgers pitcher hits into two double plays, then into a triple play.

On his defense, he was a pitcher.

That's still pretty bad though, haha.
