I was able to get:

Round 1 - 2 SRO to Game 1

Round 2 - 2 SRO to Game 5

Round 2 - 4 SRO to Game 7

Anyone know the difference between STAND2 vs. STAND3? It looks like there are different tiers perhaps? I've never seen anything like this enforced though.

I've had SRO to at least 6 or 7 times (split between the Bulls and Hawks) and have never seen anything like that.

Me neither. On the one of the receipts it says:

Section - STAND3

Row - SR5

Seats - 25 - 28

and another:

Section - STAND2

Row - SR1

Seats - 13-14

I'm guessing this is just for their purposes...but still different than what I've seen in the past.

I've had that for Bulls games. I don't think it matters, I think it's just for tracking how many SROs have been sold. I've never had to sit somewhere else because I had the wrong kind of SRO, nor have I ever had to show my ticket to anyone once I'm standing in the SRO section of the UC.

BTW, have we completely lost interest? 2-0 Hawks through the 2nd period.

Also, if anyone wants to feel better, I noticed today that the Red Wings went through a stretch at almost the same juncture of the 07-08 season where they went 1-8-2 (I'm sure people remember this). How did they recover? By winning the Stanley Cup. Now we don't have years of playoff successes to keep our confidence high, but we do have the experience of making the WCF last year to motivate the team and keep their confidence high through a horrid stretch. The more I actually think about it, the more optimistic I get.

I got tickets to what would be game 7 of the first round. I don't I'll actually be able to go because of the unlikelyhood of a game 7 occurring and then most likely not being able to get off work since it will still be a bit before we here when that game would even be (in the past do they usually try to get game 7 to fall on a weekend or do they not really care about what day it falls upon.)

If I do actually get to go though it would be pretty awesome. It would be my second ever post season even for any sport (I was lucky enough to go to an NLDS game in '03 at Wrigley. Unfortunately it was game 4, which the Cubs lost).

We actually win! 101 points! A nice decisive win in the arena were this whole crap started back in January.

It'd be nice if this jump-started them again, though I'm not holding my breath.

I'm a little nervous that it seemed like only the 4th line was doing anything (aka they won't duplicate that effort often). I didn't pay that close attention tonight though so maybe the rest of the lines played well and the 4th line just did all the scoring.

I'm convinced that Niemi *can* make the saves.

The question is *will* he make the saves come playoff time.

Just now you're convinced? How many shutouts does he have? Yes, he's shown plenty of times that he can do it. The problem has been all season that just as things start to look good for him taking the job, he falls apart.

I'm saying that, when you watch what he did last night especially during the 2 man adv, it's clear that he has ability.

Consistency? Might be another story.

But that point has been clear all year, and the consistency issue has been the question.

OK.....I guess I'm restating it then.

So you guys are saying Niemi may or may not be able to lead the Hawks to the Cup?

Bingo.

Was so busy I forgot to try and get playoff tickets yesterday. But sounds like I probably wouldn't have been successful anyway.

A lot of my friends have jobs that give them summer hours and days like today off, so right now there's table of 4 drinking beers all day in the glorious sunshine waiting for me to meet them on the way to Newark for the game tonight. I hate them.

Dusty Byfuglien is leading the Hawks in shots tonight, do Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews still play for the Hawks? Seems to me Kane and Toews have been invisible for near a month now.

I have summer hours too, but they don't start until Memorial Day.
