Missed the last two games, going to miss the next two. This work travel and vacation business is killing my hockey watching. Good thing is I'll have four games to watch in fast-forward when I get home on Sunday night.

 

I'd say Stan's GM tenure lives or dies on how the goalies perform in the playoffs, but it's easy enough to hang that around Tallon's neck. If they can move Huet in the offseason, I'll be happy. They should be trying to get Schneider (the prospect stuck behind Luongo in Vancouver).

I think it's very clear Niemi blew it. I don't think that talk could have helped anything on the trade front. They gave Niemi a few chances this year to go from backup to regular, and each time he disappointed.
