These multiple days off between games suck, especially when Chicago finally has reason to believe in the Hawks. Thursday cannot get here fast enough.

It's beginning to look like the Hawks are going to coast this year. By that I don't mean they will show less than optimal effort, just that they should be able to make the playoffs very easily. The only interesting things about the regular season are whether they can overtake Detroit and claim a top 3 seed in the playoffs, and how well Hossa will mesh with the team when he comes aboard.

I'd rather see them get some days off, the early schedule has been rough, and they have a huge amount of back to back nights this season, plus, they are about to start travelling a lot more and could use the rest with 2 big guns down.
