The announcers for the Minn/Cal game just watched a replay showing a guy hitting a receiver in the chin with the helmet 15 or so times and repeating "it was a clean hit" "he hit him with his shoulder" "it wasn't helmet to helmet" (it wasn't, it was worse than that) while the receiver is on the grass bleeding

 

edit: they came back from commercial and during the kickoff return they're still talking about him hitting him with the shoulder!

 

I have no problem with the play.

 

Is the defense supposed to allow a free TD there? There was no other play.

Whether or not it's against the rules (and I'm guessing "helmet to helmet" includes "helmet to uncovered face"), they completely ignored that the guy took a blow to the face so hard he was bleeding and concussed.

 

Hit the guy. Don't lead with your forehead

 

edit: I should make clear that my contempt here is for the announcer. It was a slightly bad defensive play. It was a horrible job by the announcers

Wayne Larrivee keeps commenting on how Michigan is going no huddle a lot this game. They haven't huddled this entire season, or last season for that matter. Nice work Wayne.

Humorous penalties in the Min/Cal game. Receiver drops a pass and gets knocked down, gets taunted slightly, gets up and pushes the defender who flops backwards. Stupidity all around

Penn State's O-Line is going to be a big issue come conference time

 

yeah we might lose a game.

 

when Temple is popping Clark in the mouth on every pass, it makes me a tad worried about playing actual teams

KU looks like crap.

 

They've found it. Reesing might end up with some gawdy numbers by the time this one is over.

 

They're looking better now, but they have to play better next week or Southern Miss could be dangerous.

This is unbelievable. I knew Purdue's defense was bad but I didn't think they were this bad.

 

Yeah I'm in a bit shock on how bad the defense was. Looks like they are waking up though.

 

edit: running into the kicker ruins the momentum built
