Charles Tillman starting opposite Vasher...interesting on 2 fronts: Big adjustment for Tillman to see first action now and where is Bowman?

BradBiggs

Tillman is active for the game. He is expected to play.

Great News.

Way to many people are high on the Packers right now.

I can't ever remember one team gaining so much media love based on the preseason.

Especially a team that couldn't stop the run last year and had a RB who was inconsistent at best. Why are the Packers so much better than last year? The 3-4? But there is no way to determine how good they will be right now.

Well if you want you could say, there is no way to determine how good anyone will be right now. :)

You possibly can if you look at improvements made. Look at your team last year and examine what additions were made. The Packers were a bad team last year and didn't do much to improve. The Bears got way better. The Bears were better than the Packers last year. They will be better this year too. But all this Packer love is crazy. It is unwarranted.

The Packers never make any changes in the offseason, via free agency or trades. That's nothing new.

Yes it was. He has no excuses this year. Last year, he held out for most of training camp and was out of shape. Sure enough, he was banged up against the Vikings and dealt with a couple of nagging injuries for most of the first half last season.

Again, he has no excuses this year. Time for him to put up or shut up this season.

I think it's very possible that he's just not that good.

He was only the featured back one year at Notre Dame and was solid but not spectacular. He split time the rest of his career and his career average was 4 ypc. Went undrafted and was stashed on the Giants practice squad and then missed the following year.

The only thing he's ever done above average in his football career is have a good '07 where he split carries in an explosive offense with a great passing game.

He's not terrible, but I don't think it's crazy to wonder if last year is just his true talent level.

So, everyone here knows I'm a Packer fan. This is still true. However, part of me almost wants the bears to freaking crush them if for no other reason than that my Green-Bay-Living huge-packer-fan ex-girlfriend would be crushed....

Decisions decisions.

Think of it this way.... if "Packers" were "Cubs" in that post, would you still feel the same way?

My last ex was a Packer fan too. That doesn't change anything.

That's horrible Roast. You root for your team to win, and then you screw your ex's best friend after the game win or lose.

Her best friend has a kid...

Well. I suppose that means she puts out. I support this course of action! Thankyou for your wisdom.

Yeah, Gotta agree here. If a Brewer/Packer fan is agreeing with a Cub/Bear fan, doesn't that basically tell you your answer?

Faith Hill is even worse than Vasher starting over Bowman.

Bear down, Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory;

Bear down, Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.

We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T-formation.

Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown.

You're the pride and joy of Illinois, Chicago Bears, bear down.
