they should probably be paying you to go watch these disastrous teams.

I've seriously been turned down by about 20 people, some of them actual Mets fans, to use the tickets, and they are really good seats.

I had the same thing at Wrigley last week with really nice seats.

go cubs. or not, don't really care.

My attention has switched to the stretch drive in the SL and the MWL playoffs.

If one had gone to the fridge for a beer as Fukudome led off, they would have missed that half inning.

That is exactly what happened! Hope I didn't miss anything.

I stayed there about a month ago on my way to VA. Beautiful town. Ate at the Texas Roadhouse there.

Hey look. We're getting shut out by another dude with an ERA over 5. Thank God football starts tomorrow.

Why isn't it obvious to Lou that Theriot shouldn't be playing? He is swinging at everything as his average and obp plummet late in the season again. I don't know if he is tired or hurt or just reverting to who he really is as a player but someone in the organization better point out a little grinder can't strike out twice as much as he walks. His goal next year should be to lead the team in pitches per plate appearance and to draw at least 80 walks.
