Hell even Lou's guy, Ibanez, would have been better.

agreed hindsight is all sorts of awesome. Ignore the the fact Ibanez was a passable at best corner outfielder in seattle with the bat and defensively his arm would not be terrible in RF who was also on the wrongside of 35.

Dunn's 3TO numbers this year are off the charts. 32 HR, 92 BB, 136 K. 51% of his plate appearances have ended with a HR, BB, or K. I think the only player with a higher 3TO% is Mark Reynolds (38 HR, 60 BB, 169 K).

his career average is 50%

Kind of like Hendry ignored the fact that Bradley is a total headcase who was on his 7th team, for some unknown reason, had a great year in Texas while DH'ing.

But then again, there is that magical dinner shared by Bradley and Hendry.......

It wasn't hindsight for Lou. Lou stated right away he wanted Raul.

well that's because he managed raul. you can't take a manager's advice just because he likes a guy he once managed.

true, but if lou was the big let's get lefthanded guy and Jim followed that, you would think he would have followed him further.

.288/.420/.584 (1.004)

And in a pitchers' park, no less.

Just sayin....

Not to discount anything that Dunn has accomplished this season, but hasn't Nationals Park been pretty neutral? RFK was definitely a pitchers' park, but Nationals Park hasn't been nearly as bad for offense as RFK was.

Adam Dunn's UZR/150 this year in RF...

-36.2

Last year...

-71.4

Dunn at 1ST this year....

-26.1

Add that defense along with Fukudome (-6.9) and Soriano (-10.5) and that defense could of gotten ugly.

What was Kosuke in RF last year? I thought it was a +. I was expecting his defense to suffer, shifting to CF, but not to go down to a - defender.
