This is absolutely a must-win game. But thankfully if the Cubs decide to tank the season this week...

Are you posting from the future?

He said IF the Cubs decide to tank this week.

i was going to go to this game as a friend, but i'm saving my money, the gas, and my time and staying home to watch them lose instead.

So you have no romantic interest in the game is what you're saying?

I wouldn't go that far, sounds like he was open to the idea, but thought better of it. The game is a whore.

Theres no future getting romantically involved with something you know is going to end up dissapointing you.

I was also going to go to this game as a friend, but the Cubs and I are having a falling out. If the Cubs win then maybe we can try to patch things up.

To reenterate, losing this game is NOT an option! With the Reds sending some guy named "Homer" out there to face Carpenter in St. Louis, I figure they cruise.

The Cubs will bunch some hits against this fossil tonite. ;)

Woah, now there is an even more egregious grammar error to harp on

Am I the only one who dislikes Fukudome hitting 5th?

Just hit Soriano there. . . .or anyone else. . . .I really like the Fuku - Bradley 1-2 combo.

Methinks your priorities are a little askew, Beertown.....but I AM curious. My error was?

Well, losing this game is an option, it really is. It is one I do not prefer, but it is an option.

I prefer Kosuke leading off as well. Not sure why Lou dropped him in the order.

Because Fuku/Milt 1-2 made too much sense. We can't have that.

I don't make it a priority unless it's really bad. Your spelling of "reiterate" isn't even phonetic (nor, I admit, is it a grammar error).

Anyway, I think maybe Laveranues Coles' parents taught you how to spell

One of the most unqualified players in the major leagues vs. a pitcher with probably the best numbers over his career than any other active pitcher.

This should be fun.

I just can't wait for Rich Hill vs. the undead corpse of Cy Young.

I'm saying the Cy's team wins by 900.
