For anyone who can't hear Brenly, he's on a roll right now. He's basically calling out this team for a lack of intensity and fire. He said it's happened far too often this year. I really do like Brenly.

I've really grown to appreciate him too. I wonder if Brenly's going to get jumped by anyone on the team.

Brenly's going to get canned in the offseason for speaking the truth.

Hopefully Lou is the one getting canned

Lou is going to charge the booth.

anyone with HBO needs to switch over. Kenny Powers is about to knock someone's eye out with a fastball in about 2 minutes. Edited by OleMissCub

This really isn't Lou's fault. Blame the architect of the team.

If the Cubs don't make the post-season, I think Lou will hang it up.

Hendry is the one I want canned no matter what.

You'd really have to wonder if he would get a chance to manage the team is Lou retires, which I fully expect him to do. The Cubs are a reflection of him right now. He seems very matter of fact this year and so does this team. Injuries aside, they have looked like a mediocre team all year long.

This was one of Hendry's worst off seasons. Instead of trying to make a good team better, he ruined it.

They all hold blame, and Lou is the one who immediately started on the whole"get more left handed" thing. The players have definately underperformed, but Lou has underperformed as well in my opinion.

Even at the deadline, his desire for a LHB "Mark DeRosa type" frustrated me to no end.

Do yourselves a favor. turn this game off. All its going to do is piss you off further. When we get back to Wrigley, its a whole different team. This game isnt going to make or break anything.

That baffles me, though. I don't understand how getting back to Wrigley is going to make this team fundamentally sound again. If they can make a pickoff throw without throwing it away at home, they can do it here. If they can field an easy grounder at Wrigley, they can do it in Colorado.

I want Bob to stay in the booth. Give the job to Trammel if they want to stay in house. If not there are other guys out there who Id take. At this point, Id throw a bucket full of money at Larussa, ever though I hate the bastard, but his teams sure as hell dont underperform like this.
