    Don't you guys feel the same way? The offseason has been so "meh". We need something that can be a nice surprise for us (Sheets returning to form for us).

    I really hope the cubs land Sheets. It will at the very least give me some hope the Cubs can beat out the Cardinals this year for the division. I dont feel very good about their chances without any more improvements.

    Manny would man LF in that scenario. I duuno about you guys but I'd deal with the blip in defense for Manny Ram in a cub october lineup.

    I still see a .900 OPS player that plays gold glove caliber defense. Players have down years. At the minimum I see him having a .850 OPS next year. You just dont dump a player like this in a salary dump when you are contending. The only way I'd even consider it is if we knew we would win the Tex sweepstakes. Who would play 1st? Don't tell me Hoffpower. I still have alot of faith in Mr. Lee
