Essentially, Ryan Braun called out his pitching staff and said Melvin should make a trade or two. Melvin took great offense.

 

This guy is the least likable player in baseball, and Milwaukee fans will definitely agree with that statement when he inevitably leaves them with some nasty parting shots the instant he can go somewhere else.

I don't really mind Ryan Braun off the field, it seems like a lot of Cubs/Cards fans are going to great lengths to hate the guy.

 

Now, on the field I despise him, of course. He has done a great many terrible things to my favorite team. I just thnk he's harmless overall, and he is somewhat justified in complaining about his front office letting their pitching completely disintegrate.

I dont know about us, from what Ive heard from Brewer fans, hes had a chip on his shoulder from day 1, and its obvious that he doesnt like Milwaukee and wants to play for a bigger market team.

Yeah I really don't think Braun dislikes Milwaukee. That said, he is still an enormous tool. He's climbing to AJ Pierzinski levels of douchbaggary fairly quickly. Now all he needs to do is assault his trainer or die his hair bright peroxide white/blond and he'll be there.

see this is what i'm talking about. ryan braun has this magic ability to spark long winning streaks by simply forming sentences, but he only chooses to do it when it's convenient for him

I have friends who regularly go to the Sunday games where the players sign autographs for kids at their positions on the field and according to them, Prince is the only guy out there who never engages the kids or takes them to another position to get an extra autograph. He seems to be a pretty angry dude at life in general and especially his dad.

There were local Madison guys ripping Braun well before Melvin's comments came out. Not sure about Milwaukee, but it was most definitely noticed before Melvin decided to get angry about it in the press.
