At least we know why Kosuke keeps his job when hes slumping. Soriano and Bradley, not so much.

 

Yeah its too bad that Soriano has never gunned out a runner at home. Unless you are talking about defense as a whole, then keep talking.

Why Shark? Why?

 

Semi-related note: I am pretty sure I saw Shark get out of a cab in front of his Southport home at about 1:30 AM last night.

 

 

Meh in bed by 2am sleep till 9am at park by 10? Thats still 7 hours of sleep

I don't think Fuku is really slumping all that badly. He's been on base 5 times in the last three games.

Yeah, I was hoping they'd show a camera angle with him in it after the play. You knew he was going to be excited after the play.

I wish we had scored more than 1 run in the 4 ABs we had with a runner on third and less than 2 outs in this game. It might have been enough.

This offense cannot afford to have Fuld and Soto out of the lineup right now. I don't care about Sori's salary or ego; the Cubs have to do whatever needs to be done to score some runs.

Quick inning. So did they decide if Heilman coming into the game means that the inning automatically starts with runners on first and second with 0 outs, or does he still have to do the work of walking the first 2 batters?
