Not to be a downer, but all but 1 of the 13 run scored in the last two wins have come via the longball...

 

I like the power surge, but I'd also like to see some 'situational' hitting as well...

 

Y'know, I really love this delicious steak in front of me, but I'd also like to see some hot dogs out there, too.

Yes but they are getting guys on base in front of the HRs. Its summer time at Wrigley, you cant control where you hit it. The main thing is they are getting guys on, and getting them in.

Why did nobody tell me this was on MLBN?

 

Good to see we may not have to salary dump DLee.

 

Let's hope we see more of that staying on the ball and going to left center from Fukudome.

Yeah, the problem hasn't been getting guys on base...it's been getting them home. I don't really care how they do it so long as they do it.
