I love Soriano being out of the lineup, but could someone explain to me why his replacement would be Fuld instead of Hoff?

Hoff would be a fine replacement for a corner OFer, but Soriano plays Leadoff. Hoff has never played Leadoff in the majors.

In other words, I have no idea.

As a leadoff hitter, I am being serious. Its something we need. When Sorianos hot, hes middle of the order material. When hes cold, he has no business in a major league lineup. Theres rarely an in between for him.
