Fox just refused to walk.

Hit & run was on with Bradley. Those were two close pitches on 3-2.

They were both up, the second one he fouled back was at, slightly above the letters. I'm not sure why Cub hitters feel compelled to swing at balls when the hit and run is on in 3-2 counts.

[expletive] MLB. It said it was giving a live look in to the cubs/pirates game and now it's just showing me the goddamned commercial.

See? This is what I'm referring to in the two other threads I posted in. We're borderline moronic as far as the fundamentals go, and once again, Brenly notices it and gripes about it. We have to be the worst baserunning team in baseball. And you know what, it's been like this for years, and nothings ever done about it.

Pathetic!!

This seems to be a common trend that we've had problems with for many years. Remember how much fun it was to watch Moises Alou on the basepaths?

To be fair though, Bradley was probably just going on contact for the purposes of trying to jumpstart the offense. That was just about the worst spot for the ball to be hit (aside from back to the pitcher) for that type of a play. Turned out terrible, but I'm not going to blow a gasket over it.

Eh, with Quade talking to Fuku after the inning, I think Bradley going on contract with a designed play.

Right, that's what I mean. Lou was trying to jumpstart the offense, thus he sent bradley on contact.

Von Joshua teaching life lessons?

What, was he explaining to the guys how to deal with the mad they feel? Will he take them on a trip to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe?
