Looking over some numbers to further depress myself and I noticed that not one Cub player is on pace to have more than 76 RBIs. Soriano leads the team with 27 through 58 games. When was the last time a team didn't have anyone with more than 76 RBIs and didn't trade away a player to achieve that?

My kid's Little League team always did better if they promised them a dollar for the concession stand after the game if they won. It's worth a shot.....

I'm still amazed that this team can't score. It's not a slump, it's just a terrible team.

I'm thinking you're right.

Don't be too down on them...the Cubs have already scored more runs this series than the last time we played the Twins. In 2006 we scored 3 runs in the entire 3 game series.

Can't know if it'll fit in the budget until the sale goes through.

If every Cubs fan in Wrigley right now would pitch in a buck, we might just have enough money to get everyone on the team one.

27 RBIs is good for 100th in the league.

If every Cubs fan in Wrigley pitched in a buck, they could pay for 4 games of Soriano's salary.

I was refering to the fact that there are loads of Twins fans at the game.

oh, nvm...

I'm not really surprised the Cubs are getting shutout so far; I'm much more surprised they were able to score 4 runs yesterday. Brutal, absolutely brutal.
