First Pitch Fastball First Pitch Fastball First Pitch Fastball First Pitch Fastball First Pitch Fastball!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Are these guys paying attention???!!!??

The pitcher wants you to swing at "his pitch". On gameday the one to Fukudome looked outside. The one to Lee created an out. The one to Hoff was a ball. A first pitch fastball is not a no brainer swing away situation.

Yea but how many times do we see them take a first pitch fastball down the middle of the plate then swing at strike 3 low in the dirt. Id rather them jump on that first pitch if they can.

I don't know how many times, but this time you freaked out after what appeared to me (via gameday) on a first pitch fastball that was at best, on the outside corner.

I get a really pissed off a lot easier this year than last year. This team is just so frustrating to watch I almost wish i didnt care about the Cubs my emotions ride day to day on how they do. if they win Im in a great mood of they lose Im pissed the whole day. Im the same way with Kentucky basketball.

How old are you?

I think that Ihatepujols guy is going to murder us all.

Sorry man I just get so pissed nowadays when it comes to the Cubs.

No offense bud, but if you're this upset now, in the middle of June watching a clearly mediocre baseball team, I don't even want to know how you were in October the last two years. After 07/08, it's really hard for me to get worked up over this team, especially at this point in the season. As I think is the same for a lot of people people here now.

Bottom line, our pitching's going to keep us competitive, and our division isn't very good. We're going to stay near the top of the Central for most of the season. One game doesn't really do much for me anymore. I can get pissed by Lou's consistent mismanaging, or Soriano's consistent refusal to lay off the low and outside slider, but one at bat isn't going to bother me

Last October was terrible...I didnt even watch game three. I went to a party had my phone with me and tried not to look up the score. I really wish I didnt care as much. I just think this team has a lot of potential and big name players just arnt coming through for us.

What makes me mad about Miles is that he'd be useful if he could duplicate his line from 2008 with St. Louis. But no of course not.

you could say that about more than a couple of guys

Haha. Miles is awesome. He should play women's softball. He'd be the perfect leadoff hitter.

After his next out, his batting average will be below .200.

He deserves it, it's like a big 'FAIL' on the scoreboard for everybody to see.

Hahaha, so in other words, 19

sumthin like that.

As someone who was 21 on July 6, 2008, I can tell you that the getting so worked up over a game will pass. Don't worry about it.

I hope so I dont wanna have a heart attack by age 30 over a baseball or basketball game.

Soriano getting closer and closer to the Mendoza line with every at-bat.

His numbers are impressively bad, especially considering how ridiculously good his April was.

Well he gets more at bats than anyone else and he doesn't walk so when he isn't hitting he's going a guaranteed 0-5 for days straight

And we're lucky enough that we'll get to see him playing LF and leading off for years to come.
