Greene to DL with anxiety disorder

Khalil Greene is out of the lineup Wednesday after an original plan to give him a start.

Greene met with manager Tony La Russa Wednesday and the two agreed that Greene would not make a second consecutive start after Greene's 0-3 (2 BB), 1 error game Tuesday night. A roster move may be pending, as Greene has admitted to feeling extreme pressure this season. Feeling extreme pressure while suffering from anxiety disorder does no one good; he'll probably land on the DL with the anxiety disorder, much like Dontrelle Willis did earlier in the year.

Amen. The hard hitting press here is something akin to the "grilling" my 4 year old gets when his teacher asks him what he wants to be when he grows up....if Greene can't handle the STL "pressure cooker" he might as well not play.

he's sucked the last 2 years, but to say he's always sucked isn't true at all. he has a career .800 OPS on the road. he was good when he played in sd but he gotk illed by petco.
