As the title says, I am in the market for a new baseball book to buy. I have already read Moneyball and am in the process I reading parts of Baseball Between the numbers. I really love the statistical analysis of the game, along with the inner workings like Moneyball brings out. I really want to try and get into sabermetrics more and the art of statistical analysis in baseball, so something right up those alleys would be perfect. I'll take any suggestions you all throw out though. So which baseball books to you all recommend??

Bill James' New Historical Abstract:

Full of stat analysis and historical factoids about players and their stats, etc. Pretty much like a baseball bible.

I checked it out from the library one time and didn't read too much of it but the way he goes decade by decade and tells stories and facts about the game that you aren't going to find in any other place makes for a really fun read.

I really liked this book.

"Whoever heard of the Cubs losing a game they had to have?" Oh Frank, how you would have changed your tune had you lived a few years longer.
