I can't believe Dye gets two games for tossing his helmet and having it hit the ump.

MLB's inconsistency on those suspensions is absolutely laughable.

Yup pretty much BS huh.

I'm pretty sure it's in the rulebook if you slam equipment forcefully it's an automatic $5,000 fine and subject for ejection based on discretion of the umpire. If said equipment hits an opposing player or umpire it's fair game for a suspension.

I think he means BS the other direction. They tried to give Bradley 2 games for a hat bump and Dye gets 2 for throwing stuff at him?

These automatic outs like Lee and Fontenot are really starting to annoy me. It seems like the Cubs have men on base every time these guys get up there and start flailing away.

Fontenot has been awful. Hendry might need to look for a 2b at the trade deadline. Maybe we can trade the 3 guys we got for DeRo to get us a decent 2b.

Tejada grounds out again to end the inning. Wells up to 62 pitches through 3 innings.

I can't believe there are no runs with this strike zone. All you have to do is sit there with the bat on your shoulder and wait for one dead center; if you don't get it you walk.

Typically I like pitcher's duels, but this one just has bad written all over it. The chances that Randy Wells out duels Roy Oswalt is minimal at best.

Yep. It definitely feels like it's just a matter of time before Wells falls apart and the Astros score 3+.

Wells is only going 1 more inning at this rate...
