My Cardinal fan buddy: "Miles is only good when he's on the Cardinals".

They can have him back.

I've offered on numerous occasions.

Well this games over

Yes, yes it is.

Which is a bummer because I needed something interesting to get me through the afternoon.

Does it affect Marshall's thought process at all to know he's got to pitch well with that crap lineup out there behind him?

Hey I have a question...forgive me if this is off topic, but how do you watch the Cub games? I am moving to the St. Louis area this fall for grad school, and am wondering what my options are. Do you get MLB.TV or is there anyway to get CSN there. I would assume WGN is available (superstation). I know yesterday's GDT talked about blackouts and I wouldn't think that the Cubs are blacked out in the city.

I wish I asked this before Gathright singled but....

Worst 1-2 in recent Cubs history...

Neifi Perez/Enrique Wilson

Joey Gathright/Aaron Miles

Corey Patterson/Neifi Perez

Corey Patterson/Jerry Hairston

Lenny Harris and Jose Macias have to be in there somewhere.

Not in the same lineup. Harris was there in 2003. Macias didn't join the Cubs until 2004. However, we did have these great 1-2 combos:

2004

Jose Macias/Damian Jackson

Jose Macias/Ramon Martinez

Damian Jackson/Ramon Martinez

2005

Jose Macias/Neifi Perez

I meant individually. Thanks for proving my point. :D

Go Lee!

I just checked the box score and about fainted. Was Lou trying to come up with the worse possible lineup without using more than one pitcher? If that is the case, he wins.

Lou has done the impossible. He has made the Giants line up look good.

We are starting a normal starter so I don't see how Lou gets the blame for the Giants scoring.

He's talking about in comparison to the Cubs lineup.

But Lou is starting some questionable defenders at multiple positions.

If you get mlb.tv you'll only be blacked out for Saturday afternoon games and Cardinals games. Obviously, you can watch the Cardinals broadcast then, though.

LOL Sweet Tie dyed shirts bros. Someone needs to tell those guys it's not the late 80's/early 90's.

Hey, sometimes you get so baked that you lose track of time.

Thank you I would have asked you too but didn't want to derail the thread. That is probably what I will be doing. I was planning on getting mlb.tv and can live with watching the Cards announcers for the Cubs-Cards games.
