That was well hit, it just happened to barely be in the range of the SS.

It won't be long until we stop posting statistics like "1-15" as he's gonna break out of this slump.

Dangit, Geo.

Any time you want to start hitting now is just fine with me.

Lingering shoulder issues that he's keeping quiet, perhaps?

His shoulder looked fine gunning out Duncan yesterday

What the hell was that Geo? He should've parked the pitch before the DP ball and he barely got a piece of it.

It's early, pitchers are ahead of hitters, his timing is off, that is to be expected.

Soto was my biggest candidate for a downturn this year. Having said that, it is way, way too early be talking like that. But, I think he hit a little over his head last year. Doesn't mean he still can't be a top 3 catcher in the NL though.

Why was he your candidate for a downturn out of curiosity?

we need at least 1 more run here. NO DP SOTO

MLB.tv?

yep......

That's the one thing that sucks. I pretty much have to avoid gamethreads using mlb.tv unless I want to have every play predicted for me.

That's definitely true but that was about a 91 mph straight fastball that was begging to be crushed.

Sit down, Luckwick.

I hate to say this but...

Rick Wilkins.

ouch

If he's still looking like this in May, I'll be worried.

I'm not necessarily saying he's the next Rick Wilkins but it's hard not to think about it.

I guess I'm just stubborn and too much of a disgruntled Cubs fan to fully buy into his huge breakout the past couple of years.

I like him, a lot. I just have my doubts he'll be as good as he was last year consistently.
