Not really that prestigious, but MLB Trade Rumors named their Propsect All-Star Team. Vogelbach and Baez made it.

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/09/prospect-rumor-roundup-all-prospect-team.html

First Base: Dan Vogelbach, Cubs -- This position was the hardest one to find a deserving candidate. The Astros' Jonathan Singleton missed the beginning of the year due to a suspension and then struggled with his consistency. The Angels' C.J. Cron failed to consistently tap into his raw power. Vogelbach, just 20, performed well at two A-ball levels and showed the ability to hit for average and power while also getting on-base at a solid clip.

Brandon Hyde, the Cubs' director of player development, said Vogelbach's successes came from hard work. "It was an impressive season with raw power to all fields," he said. "He has an advanced approach for his age, and he controls the strike zone."

Shortstop: Javier Baez, Cubs -- There were five players that were considered in this slot, including Xander Bogaerts (Red Sox), Francisco Lindor (Indians), Addison Russell (Athletics) and Carlos Correa (Astros). Baez, though, came out ahead when considering his outstanding statistical results and the fact that he has a chance to be as good as any other player on the list. Just 20, he finished the year in Double-A and hit a combined 37 home runs with 20 stolen bases and a .920 OPS.

Yahoo! Sports' Jeff Passan did one of those the other day too

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/yahoo-sports--all-minor-league-team-053042995.html

SS: Javier Baez (A+/AA, Chicago Cubs) – There may be no more polarizing prospect in the minor leagues than Baez, onto whom Cubs fans have transferred 100 years of yearning and wanting with the idea that he is baseball Yahweh, or at very least Ernie Banks 2.0. Meanwhile, those who choose not to deify him are the enemy. OK. Let's find a happy medium. He is a 20-year-old who hit 37 home runs, and even if he does have to move to third base (probably) and strikes out too much (definitely), his bat speed is otherworldly and his swing a thing of beauty. Just watch this video. Focus on the lower body, because everyone else seems to fixate on the Gary Sheffield waggle he's got going on. The load, the stride – it's Miguel Cabrera. The ballhawks on Waveland are smiling already.
SP: C.J. Edwards, RHP (A/A+, Chicago Cubs) – Edwards, and not Mike Olt, was the main piece going back to the Cubs in the Matt Garza deal, and even if at 22 he's old for Class A, executives see him as a No. 3-level starter because of plus stuff and good control.

but maybe the most interesting part, to me:

Honorable mention [sP]: Miguel Almonte (A, Kansas City), Kyle Crick, RHP (A+, San Francisco), Kendry Flores, RHP (A, San Francisco), Andrew Heaney, LHP (A+/AA, Miami), Kyle Hendricks, RHP (AA/AAA, Chicago Cubs), Luke Jackson, RHP (A+/AA, Texas), Erik Johnson, RHP (AA/AAA, Chicago White Sox), Rafael Montero, RHP (AA/AAA, New York Mets), Lucas Sims, RHP (A, Atlanta), Robert Stephenson, RHP (A/A+/AA, Cincinnati), Noah Syndergaard, RHP (AA/AAA, New York Mets), Taijuan Walker, RHP (AA/AAA, Seattle).

those are basically all legit prospects he's being lumped in with

Parks is probably still talking about it because Kyle is hardly alone in the myopic cubs fans obsessed with where people rank Baez discussion

Why even rank them if people aren't going to care where they're ranked?

edwards turned 22 all of 2 days ago. he is not old for high A ball. by that standard, every college junior drafted in 2012 who hasn't reached AA is too old for his level.

and what's the deal with edwards being drafted in 2011? he was picked straight out of high school, but he would've been 19 years and 9 months old then. was he held back a year in school at some point?

Why is it so hard for some to accept Hendricks as a legit prospect? He's 23, dominated AA for the bulk of a season and didn't seem at all phased when bumped up to the next level?

Nobody's going to confuse him with Matt Harvey, but I could see him contributing at the big league level by next summer.

Where do people have ranked? I have him at 12 and despite his amazing year I'm thinking it's still too high.

12-15 seems to be appropriate for him. Baez, Bryant, Soler, Almora, Alcantara, Edwards, Pierce, Candelario, Vogelbach, Villanueva, Underwood are all guys I think definitely should be ahead of him. Then there are guys who I could see a argument for in Vizcaino, Maples, Olt, Vitters, Pineryo, Zastryzny to be ahead of him. He's def a top 20, though.

Hendricks? The guys I definitely have above him are Javy, Bryant, Almora, Soler, Alcantara, Edwards, PJ, Vogelbach, and Villanueva. Probably will put Olt and Candelario ahead of him as well. The group I'll be deciding on is Hendricks, Vizcaino, Blackburn, Jimenez, Torres(some won't rank these two at all obviously) and Zastryzny. So for me, he's likely going to wind up in the 12-17 range.

I can't really see Underwood being ahead of him (or ahead of most of those other guys you listed).

I meant to say Blackburn, I get those two mixed up all the time for some reason.

you and kyle both

they're like literally opposites. one is a super polished white guy who had/has questions about his stuff and the other is a black guy with awesome but unharnessed stuff.

Yeah, I just think it's that they were drafted in the same class or something for me. Idk

Poor Neil Ramirez getting no love.

Crap, I forgot about him. He's in my 12-18 range with Hendricks, Vizcaino, Blackburn, Jimenez, and Torres as well.

I think Hendricks drops in about 10 or 11 for me, depending on how much benefit of the doubt I want to give to Candelario.

I have Kyle Hendricks around 15. I've probably been the slowest to move him up - he was somewhere in the 20s for me until his successful stint at AAA to close the season.

Amongst the guys mentioned by some of the posters, I definitely have Candelario and Zaztryzny above him and Underwood and Blackburn behind.

Whoa. I think Blackburn > the rest of those pitchers.

I have Blackburn pretty closely rated but am worried about whatever injury he dealt with midseason.
