I just saw a commercial with a lady complaining that she had to re-use catheters....how in God's name to people watch TV during the middle of the day?

And she doesn't like having to buy them "from strangers".

It's 11:28 a.m., CDT, as I write this. I live in Joliet, southwest of the city, and it's still raining here, but it should be ending within 15 minutes, so I'd say a good 1-2 hrs. of rain left for the North Side. Can they push it back to 3?

They can and they will.

Saturday when I was there they really made it sound like they wanted to get it in. And because there's lights at wrigley they'll push that beast back as long as they can to get it in.

Also, on a semi-related note. I'm reallyreally glad i'm not there today. It's nasty outside.

Oh, and for the record - if the game was going to be cancelled it would have been so already. The gates opened (or were scheduled to) ten minutes ago. Thus, i'd assume that from here on out they're going to try their damndest to get it in.

Yeah, and shes too lazy to boil them and dry them...there was just a whole lot wrong with that commercial.

It was hilarious though that she was saying all of this while walking through the forest. But I almost threw up while watching it. And it wasn't like I was watching Matlock or something, it was Hook, a damn kids movie. Now in order to not see that commercial again I have to watch the Sox pre-game.

That may be more vomit-inducing.

Lineup according to the Sun-Times twitter:

Lineup if they play: sori, theriot, fuku (rf), lee, font, johnson (cf), miles (2b), hill, lilly

Ramirez out with a sore back, Bradley feels better.

Well crap.

Ramirez is hurt and Miles blows hard.

Great. A Dusty-era forfeit lineup.

Interesting quote from Lou in regards to Fukudome:

"I'm very happy to see him stroking it."

Whatever works!

it's good to see him stroking it in the 2-hole

I didn't even know Fontenot played 3rd base.

Good to hear Bradley feels better. You figure with this weather, Ramirez would have been held out anyways; hopefully its not too serious.

Neither Miles or Theriot can throw it that far.

My inner second grader is quite amused.

Did you hear the one about Edmonds taking it in the Pujols? *snicker*
