If you're going to go that far back you have to go with guys like Ducky Medwick, Hal Chase, and Cap Anson. Any whats with nobody mentioning Pete Rose?

Look at OMC's post about half way down the second page.

Bill Buckner doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the list. He's took enough from 86 to 04.

That doesn't change the fact that he was a horse's ass and his teammates hated him throughout his career.

Two words: Todd Hundley.

Yes, this^^^ I had the displeasure of meeting him & a bigger d-bag I have never met, and I've come across MANY d-bags in my professional life.

*ducks*

Nah. People say he was a bit of a prick when he played but he's not on the level of some of the hardcore douchebags in this thread.

Bobby Cox too.

Top of my list. He'd bitch and moan about a pitch from a Braves player being called a ball even if it was a neck high and a foot outside.

Frank Thomas.

And speaking of *ducks*

Ryne Sandberg -- grade-A prick when I met him and his attitude as a minor league coach smacks of douche.

I hate Ryne Sandberg.

The minor leagues are supposed to be about the young kids. Helping the kids become major leaguers. He's only out for himself, just like he always was. All he ever cared about was winning - winning - winning.

A real LOSER off-the-field too. No wonder he's headed for a second DIVORCE. LOUSY family man.

The Hall of Fame does not make you a good person. He let it go to his head. I hope to GOD he never ever manages the CUBS. I'll become a Whie Sox fan.

IT'S NICE TO BE IMPORTANT BUT IT'S MORE IMPORTANT TO BE NICE!!!!

In the one brief pass I had with him he was kind of holier-than-thou in his attitude. Then again, I'm pretty sure if some of the people i've met for 10 minutes or less were to judge me they'd call me a grade A prick too. We're not all awesome, all the time.
