I wouldn't draft a QB. Hanie looks decent from all accounts. I'd go after a FB in one of the last 2 rounds. I do like the rest of your draft though.

I would consider drafting a QB late. If not, then they definitely should next year. I'm a firm believer in constantly bringing in fresh arms to the QB battle, and not just undrafted free agents and roster cuts either. Also, I don't really care much about the FB position. It's just not that vital. Find a body who can throw the occasional block and contribute on special teams.

Agreed. I would definitely draft a QB next year. Basanez isn't much and another guy to compete for the #2 spot would be nice, but my thinking is bring in a guy that can learn from Cutler next year as opposed to learning the offense WITH Cutler this camp.

I don't care much about FB either, neither does anyone else that's why they all go in or after the 6th. I just look at it as a cheap way to get another contributor, whereas drafting any other position that late isn't likely to contribute, ever. And anything to get McKie off the roster helps!

You hate that dude don't you.

I don't know, I think some 6th and 7th round players have contributed, at least to special teams. Of course, I can't think of any names there.

Not a McKie fan. He reminds me of the dude from Naughty by Nature.

Normally I would agree with you, raw, but if you can get a good value pick in the 6th or 7th rounds I think you take a QB late, especially if he is the highest rated player left on the board. I am not particularly impressed with the current Bears backup QB regardless of how much Lovie/Angelo says how much they like a certain backup QB. So if a Nate Davis (for example, and I am sure he won't be there late) is available in the 6th rd, I think you could have great value there. If there isn't a QB you like late in the draft, so be it.

Last I heard Davis had risen his stock up, potentially, into the second round. If he's there in the sixth, the Bears better take him.

Somebody like Hunter Cantwell or Michigan State's Brian Hoyer would be much more realistic to be there.

ESPN News passes on a report from Sal Paolantonio that the Cardinals have lowered their asking price for Anquan Boldin.

According to Sal Pal, the Cardinals are now seeking just a second-rounder and an additional player. One team is reportedly "all over" Boldin now. The Eagles and Giants may have entered the race along with the Ravens, Jets, and Titans now that a first-rounder isn't required.

Oh, come on! If Angelo can somehow trade the #49 pick and a player to Arizona's liking for Boldin - you have GOT to do it!

That makes your first round pick = Jay Cutler and your second round pick = Anquan Boldin and then you can relax until #99 in the third round!

DO IT, JERRY! :clapping:

If the Bears still insist on using the FB as much as they did last year with McKie, I'd really like it if they upgraded that position.

Yeah, now a ton of teams are going to be "all over him" though.

I've got the Bears web site open so that I can be first to order a Boldin jersey. They need to get all over this.

Rashied Davis and a 2nd rounder would be a beautiful thing.

At least 10 were after Cutler, right?

This is like hitting the progressive slots at the casino and thinking you can do it again on your next visit. I wish, but I doubt.

i'd have a perma-boner if we got boldin.

I still do from the Cutler trade. Boldin might force me to seek medical attention.

Memo to Cutler: Get into Angelo's ear and basically beg him to get Bolden.

That would be gross, but maybe still worth it.

Something is brewing in Tennessee....

Scout.com's Adam Caplan reports the Cardinals are "gathering information on" Titans RBs LenDale White and Chris Henry.

White or Henry plus a second-round picks would be a no-brainer for the Titans, but the Cardinals should be aiming higher at running back.

Awesome. Come on Reinfeldt.

I'd hate to lose LenDale, but this is a great draft to replace him in.

Hate to say it, but that looks like a pretty good move for the Titans if they can swing it. Edit: wrong player.

Is it the Titans that have Justin Gage?
