What's the possibility of Brandon Marshall whining his way into a trade to the Bears?

quarterback is by far the most important position in pro football.

Even more, I think it is the most important position in pro sports

agreed, but i didn't want to get into a side argument with some about that in this thread.

I heard it in the car 20 minutes ago and I started yelling and celebrating like a maniac.

i'm curious to see how kyle orton does in denver. many orton supporters have pointed out the bears offense doesn't have any weapons. many cutler detractors have pointed out the broncos offense has weapons at tight end and receiver.

if orton is as good as many have said, he should really doing well in denver.

I hope Jay Cutler is also a great receiver, offensive lineman, and every position on defense.

urlacher on the trade:

"I guess the Bears felt like we needed another quarterback, so they made a move," Urlacher said. "They gave up a lot. Cutler must be pretty good. I guess we got better as a team," Urlacher said. "You get a quarterback who is a Pro-Bowl guy.

"I would be ticked off too if someone was trying to trade me and didn't tell me about it," he said. "I don't think Jay is going to be an issue. We have a pretty good locker room, so I'm not worried about that. Hunter [Hillenmeyer] knows him. And [Cutler] seems like a pretty good guy. I've never met him but I've heard good things about him. I'm not worried about him fitting in."

Cutler might not "save" us this year, but he's only 25. He'll be here for at least a few years as we rebuild the D. The offensive line is going to be better this year IMO. We've got a stud RB and two very good TEs. We need to either sign Holt now, or make the 2nd round our round to get a WR (or both), then focus on D in the later rounds.

nobody is saying this solved all the bears problems or makes them a super bowl contender
