I'm glad Michigan is punting this year to learn the spread, but I think they would be a halfway decent team this year with a traditional offense.

I'm glad Michigan is punting this year to learn the spread, but I think they would be a halfway decent team this year with a traditional offense.

I don't understand why RichRod can't teach these guys the spread and work it in gradually to give this team a chance to win this year. Yes, trial by fire probably works quicker, but if I were a UM fan (shudder), I don't know if I'd consider it worth it to go through things like a home loss to Toledo.

I partially agree. I mean the personnel isnt even there for the spread. Threet won't be the spread qb of the future. I waver on this. All this is doing for RRod is getting Michigan fans and alumni pissed at him, and its probably not a good idea to start off on a bad foot with those guys.

Speaking of Toledo, Northern Illinois is schooling them right now. Ball State's November schedule includes their four most difficult MAC games (NIU, @Miami U, @CMU and WMU), all four of which might end up on ESPN2 - the first three already are and WMU might get picked up as well.

michigan always plays their best game of the year against us and we always play our worst (see that last play, for example), so who knows.

This has the look of a game where you pull away in the 2nd half. I underestimated KU; we're better than I thought. But I think there's just too a big a talent/speed disparity right now. I'm not saying we don't have a shot at it. But our margin for error is small.

Threet has to have the least accurate arm of any QB I've ever seen. The only positive of this is that when he misses, he misses so far off that usually its out of the reach of the DBs as well.
