I cant wait to see D Rose tonight against the Celts. I think he has a big game tonight, and the Bulls have a chance in the 4th quarter.

Do the Bulls have a shot tonight? It seems like teams with Garnett on them always beat the Bulls. Even when the Wolves were crap w/ Garnett they beat the Bulls when they made the playoffs.

 

Nah, I don't think the Bulls matchup well at all against the Celtics. I think the Bulls can beat a team of the Celtics caliber, but not if they can't matchup well.

 

It's early in the season, so things are most possible right now. But Bulls have a bad combo of nobody that matches up well vs. either Garnett or Pierce. If feel you have to either slow one down offensively or make them work enough on D to cause problems. It would be a good sign if the Bulls have a shot in the 4th quarter.

 

The Bulls lost all four meetings last yr to Boston. The two games in Boston weren't particularly close as the Bulls lost by a combine 48 points. The games were so uncompetitive that KG at one point was barking mock orders to the C's scrubs. And all of the big three were seen laughing and having a good time by the 4th quarter. So yeah, I'm hoping and expecting the Bulls to make sure the C's don't have an easy time with the Bulls.

 

So yea, I REALLY want the Bulls to beat the C's tonight.

I learned not to fall for the shot fake consistently in 3rd grade... Celtics have easily 8+ points off of STUPID Bulls players falling for it.

Well this looks a lot like the Skiles and Boylan team from last year and year's past. Way too many jump shots, especially from Tyrus.

Nocioni/Noah - Fouling off the ball

 

This is rough. VDN look like he's in a daze out there.

 

For the record, I'm tired of the announcers giving the Bulls excuses for being young. Gordon/Hinrich/Noc/Deng have been around for 3 or 4 years. They should be better.

 

This is a 35 win team at best.

I'm not usually the OMG ONE GAME THE SEASON IS OVER type, but it's frustrating seeing guys entering their 3rd and 4th years (now with enormous contracts) who don't seem to improve at all year to year. It's a team that is built to score with jump shooting and there are no jump shooters on the team. Gray/Thomas/Noah can't score in the post consistently, and if the 3's aren't falling, the team is screwed. At least the Curry/Chandler teams were great on defense. This team always looks out of position.

btw the celtics are getting away with all kinds of shoving and crap defensively, but this is the nba, those are the champs at home, and all that is to be expected.

 

let's just hope the shooting gets a lot better in the second half... it can't possibly continue to be that poor, can it?
