A series with the Celtics will be ugly (I don't think it really matter who we play. I think Orlando will crush us too but I have no hope vs the Celtics.

Go Cavs

But that team had defense, and you can't discount that. All of the recent Bulls playoff teams have peaked at the end. Skiles got them at their peak toward the end of the season year after year. I wish the Bulls had him.

If the Bulls still had Skiles, you wouldn't have seen the development from Tyrus and Noah and Derrick Rose probably wouldn't have been given nearly as much playing time, especially if a Hinrich injury wouldn't have taken the decision out of his hands. Skiles is a big part of the reason Tyrus's development was stunted in his first two years. I feel strongly about this.

I liked him while he was here but he definitely has his warts.

But the team would be playing defense, hence they would be a better team.

Wow, Philly trying to help the Bulls out.

Is it worse to get beat by a bad team or worse to get beat by a good team without its 3 best players? I think the Cavs without Lebron, Williams, and Ilgauskas would be the worst team in the league, so I'm going with the former.

The worst part about this game is that it's been the veterans who have been absolutely brutal (Ben, Kirk, Miller, Salmons) while Rose, Thomas, and Noah have been pretty good.

LeBron, Mo, Ilgauskas, Joe Smith, and Ben Wallace haven't played at all. Delonte West and Anderson Varejao haven't played in the second half. This is crazy that the Cavs are even in this game.

Someone was saying that Chicago hadn't lost since Friday.

Well that streak lasted until today where the Bulls choked away the 6th seed and the much easier playoff matchup, the Cubs got dominated by their ex-teammate while their best pitcher struggled, and the White Sox got 4 hit and lost 9-0 to Detroit.

In Chicago sports, when it rains it pours.

Just about a week ago, I thought Boston would have been our "best" matchup but that changed after Orlando really slumped down the stretch. I don't know what happened tonight for the Bulls, but it's obvious they don't have the toughness to compete with Boston in a seven-game series.

For the Bulls sake, we have to hope Garnett's knee still isn't at 100%. If that's the case, we might make it a series but the odds of that happening and the odds of making it a series are slim to none.

Seriously I am so mad about this game. I'm not upset, I'm not sad. I don't get that gutwrenching pain in my stomach like I do after tough losses. I am just plain mad at the Chicago Bulls. They fooled me again with another colossal choke and now their season will be ending shortly.

They were going to lose to the Magic too.
