ESPN has Saturday Phil/Mil game at 6

Absolutely no work will get done starting at 3:30 on Wednesday. I wonder if we can just bail out (there are about a dozen Dodger fans plus two of us Cubs fans).

Two things.

1.) Cubs beer policy has been to cut off sales for night games at the middle of the 7th or at 9:20 (whichever one comes first). Does this mean that they will be cutting off beer sale in approximately the 2nd inning for Game 2 (8:37 first pitch)?

2.) Kind of an irrelevant observation, but assuming that the Cubs open up the gates two hours prior to first pitch at 6:37 p.m., this means that all of batting practice will take place under the lights as the sun will have already completely set. I'm sitting in the bleachers this game so I think it will be kind of cool seeing as how I've never witnessed batting practice in Wrigley under the lights.

What, so after all the bitching and whining about them being day games they'll be in the middle of the night? Awesome.

I thought I was screwed because I work until 8 on Thursday and Saturday.

Thursday is going to be a late night, but I can't really complain. I'll only have to take off early from work one day and that will be no more than an hour early.

BBTN just said that Wednesday will be at 5:30pm.

WGN said they will have all gametimes on Sports at 9:40

Can you provide an update for those of us not in Chicago (and don't have WGN)

I'll be in class from 6-9 Wednesday night...thank God for DVR.

I've never been so anxious to watch a Chicago Cubs team play baseball.

Let's do the damn thing.

sweet, so I won't miss Survivor or The Office on Thursday night?

There is no Office this Thursday.

I could do without the late start Thursday, myself.

OK, so now I look like an idiot because I told all my friends over the weekend that the Cubs would be playing day games for games 1 & 2.

What happened?

Like everything, subject to change.

I will never fall for that again.

What happened?

We knew that the Cubs would get evening/night slots if they faced the Dodgers. The daytime starts would only have been if the Cubs faced the Mets or Phillies.

So everything changed when Lou decided Howry was a good pitcher to face Braun.

IT'S NOT MY DAMN FAULT.
