It doesn't matter whether we win or lose, but - honestly - I always enjoy seeing the Cubs win (whether it be w/the A-team or B/C-team). Therefore, to help muster some good karma, here's some pics (pardon the fact that they are not necessarily Cubs-related):

Dear Chicago Cubs,

I appreciate what you did to the mets and because of that we're back in the playoff race. However if we(Brewers fans) could ask for one more favor and please lose this game it will be greatly appreciated.

Yours Truely

Brewers Fans

At least you folks have a sense of humor. Most of us here appreciate it; just ignore the haters. They forget that the Cubs were once in a similar position versus the CARDS AND THE ASTROS.

Either way, my fondest baseball memories are from riding the train from Oklahoma to Milwaukee and going to see baseball games with my grandfather. Of course the team back then was called the Braves and the venue was County Stadium. Even back then it was :old_givebeer:

Ah the memories. As Fred and I know. :yahoo:

I want the Cubs to win their 98th game of the season! I'm not hating on the Brewers but IMO, the Mets are a better first round matchup than the well-rested Dodgers. Oh yeah, there's some serious over exposure in this thread.

Go Cubs!

Go Twins!

Go Mets!

Go Indians!

FYI, TBS will be showing the Marlins vs Mets after a rain delay.

After reading all the whining on the Brewers board yesterday, really it doesn't matter what Lou does those people are going to cry about something. Personally I thought the point of making the playoffs was to win and earn your way instead of expecting other teams to lay down for you. The Brewers have blown plenty of opportunities to win games and make the whole situation be entirely in their control.

Exactly! I know it wasn't the majority of Brewerfan yapping about Lou but the people who were are delusional. The Brewers had the second best record in the League, at one point, so the fact that they are in this situation is all on them.

I have a feeling that Sabathia is going to dominate us today. I don't know why, we've hit him well, but we'll see.

Wow Soriano is in a bad slump

I know the Cubs have done well swinging early in the count vs. Sabathia, but with him going on 3 days rest for the third straight start, it might be wise to take a few pitches. I'm not a manager though.

I believe he'll look good through the early innings, if his work load is going to take a toll, it'll show up in the middle innings.

Soriano definitely looked overmatched.

Yet he's pretty good lifetime vs. CC

I know this lineup should be able to touch him up pretty well. Hopefully whatever his mental block is, it goes away in the next two days.

The mental block is probably apathy

Was that not any other rookie that could have started over Guzeman?

Not fond of him

Anyone could have started. The Cubs probably gave him the start to reward him for his hard work back from TJ

Funny, I've had the same thing all week. I'm definitely in favor of Mets the first round instead of the Dodgers though, so I wouldn't mind a win today.
