Fontenot is probably going to finish the season with an OPS over .900.

Pretty funny.

in over 270 PAs!

I don't find that funny, I found it awesome!

Haha, you can tell the Cubs players just want to get this game over with....they are swinging at everything.

Sup does have decent command of his breaking pitches tonight though.

I don't find it amusing. I DO NOT want brewers in over mets.

Is anyone else having trouble not getting annoyed at this, even though it means nothing?

As someone else just said, it DOES mean something. It means a lot. The Dodgers are a better team than the Mets and also have time to set up their rotation and get rested.

Philly

Mets

Brewers

LA

CC's workload

Sheets Elbow

Bullpen

Defense

In a 7 games series that team doesn't scare me at all.

Santana/Pedro is a pretty tough combo in a short series in OCT.

now that we know howry and marquis are in the playoffs, it seems as though one of gaudin, samardjia, cotts, and marshall will miss the playoffs. Who do you guys think isn't on the roster? Source: cubs.com article that announces playoff rotation

Probably Gaudin, since he hasn't looked so good coming back from injury.

I think this has been answered in another thread, but I forgot the answer. How are line drives defined for LD%? (somewhat Theriot related question)

Are you unaware that Pedro is terrible?
