It can't be.

 

Based on his little "talk" with Howry I think it's pretty clear. Who else does Lou have confidence in?

Who cares if Sori didn't dive? It's a pointless game for the Cubs. I wouldn't want anyone out there diving at this point.

 

Soriano had no chance at that ball, but it's far from a pointless game
