He stayed back from this trip; Cory Provus is doing color commentary for the radio broadcast this week. I'm unsure as to whether Ron will be back in the booth for the Milwaukee series.

He had said that if the Cubs hadn't clinched this weekend he was going to go to New York with the team, but since they've clinched, he said there was no reason to go....

 

He will make the trip should the Cubs and Mets meet in the Playoffs though.

He never travels to New York. He hates the city.

 

Better for him to rest for the playoff anyway.
