Whats the magic number for HFA now?

 

3 or 2 depending on how they rule on the unplayed Astros game. So basically it's in the bag.

 

I would be ticked if the Cubs were up 0.5 game on NYM or PHI and they made the Cubs play that extra game for HFA.

 

If they are just 0.5 game up on one of them then they would have a losing record against both teams so a loss would mean they lose HFA.

 

Thankfully, we don't need to worry about it.

Its mostly embarrassing that our organization for the past 100 years couldn't put together a winning team twice in a row

 

The World Series is one thing, mostly a crapshoot, look at how many titles the Braves took down during their run...but to not put together two playoff teams in a row with the market share we have?
