Whoa, 5 runs? What happened?

Trust me, let ignorance be your bliss.

I refuse to believe that Adam Kennedy hit a grand slam. ESPN is lying to me. Please tell me what really happened.

It wasn't so much the homer as it was all the hits before it. Funny thing about grand slams....

Haven't both of Kennedy's HRs this year been grand slams? I seem to remember him hitting one back in July as well.

You might be thinking of the Miles walk-off which I had to witness in person...

THIS UMPIRE SUCKS... what the hell? Seriously... I am saying this every day, these assclowns need to be disciplined.

Maybe it's not the umps...

Or.... it.... definitely...... is.......

Think about it. Who's more likely to be seeing the strikezone correctly, a bunch of professional umpires standing right behind the plate or some kid on a message board who is watching on TV with a centerfield camera positioned off-center? I wonder.

Are you serious?

Nope. I'll trust Cynosure to tell me how well the umps are calling the strikezone rather than, you know, trusting the professionals.

Obviously that call Wainwright just got on Theriot wasn't the same pitch Zambrano threw to Kennedy... and it was called different things....

WHAT DO I KNOW THOUGH, IM JUST A KID WATCHING ON TV AND KNOW THE REAL STRIKE ZONE

Any Words on radar ratings? I'm more worried about where Zambranos arm strengthn is right now rather than results , I expected him to come out overhyped after that start. Hopefully Piniella has him on 70-80 pitch count today.

That was probably it. All those stupid Cardinals MI's are the same to me.

Just leave him alone, Mizzou... someone wizzed in his Cheerios this morning so he's a bit bitter.

Theriot at a .300 average for the first time since April 18th

He hasn't been nearly as patient lately and has been sending a lot more to the outfield.... which I guess was good yesterday, though, getting Marquis to third

Seriously, get Theriot out of the 2 spot

he's fine there, but he wore down badly last year, and lou does not seem to have learned his lesson. theriot should play very sparingly the rest of the regular season.

So... you enjoyed Baker as a manager? A lot easier to fire a manager than an umpire, too, and that's ignoring the fact that people like you are assuming that the umpires are right, when managers at least have to get wins to stay hired.

Being a manager and being an umpire are two completely different things. You can't compare them since, obviously, there are way more things that go into being a manager than being an umpire.

I'm always getting those two confused, far more than any other two players in baseball. I'm not sure why.

Yea soccer... but you're missing the point... off center camera or not, these are terribly blatant missed calls. If you can't see it, let me know what drugs you're on, because I want some.

I wouldn't eat either if someone urinated in my cereal.

You do realize that the camera being off center affects your ability to see the exact strike zone, right?

So why doesn't a defense of "he's a professional" work for managers? It's easier to see when an umpire screwed up. You can even watch it from multiple angles and in slow motion, something that doesn't work for managers and wouldn't help them anyway.

You do realize that being off center doesn't affect the height of the pitch as it relates to the hitter? You do also realize 4 inches below the knees isn't a strike, right?

Obviously not.
