The Cowboys had one plan all night and that was to blitz Rodgers and it worked.

He was obviously frustrated with how much pressure was on him all night.

Only his 3rd career start, he will learn from this.

It's there, you just have to read between the lines. It says Step 4: Skip step 4

I actually thought Rodgers did ok considering how much Dallas was bringing the heat. Yes he held onto the ball a little too long, but it's better to take a sack than to just throw the ball up and pray that someone comes down with it.

I'm not really all that frustrated with this loss because I do think it was evident that we can compete with Dallas. Our red zone playcalling was a little hideous. After that big pass to Driver, we should've been able to punch it in and that would've tied the game at 13. Instead we had a run and then a Rodgers scramble for nothing before Rodgers got sacked. It's an entirely different ballgame if it's tied at 13 there instead of a 13-9 game.

And I thought the defense played well considering Harris was out for most of the game. Woodson did a fantastic job on T.O. I'm glad McCarthy finally wised up and decided using against Harris on bigger wideouts. If only we used Harris on Plaxico in the NFC Title game..

Dallas just made the big plays while we didn't. They do have some big play guys, but Mario Austin isn't one of them. Terrible job by Tramon Williams and not really sure what Aaron Rouse was doing there. We missed Bigby tonight in terms of the physical aspect on defense. Dallas owned us in the time of possession battle which really hurt our defense, but given the amount of time out there, they did fine.

We'll be more than fine for the rest of the year as long as we continue to do what we have been doing. This team has a lot of talent and it's going to be fun to watch these guys mold together as the year goes on. I really hope Ryan Grant can get 100% soon because him and Brandon Jackson could form a real nice 1-2 punch in the backfield. And Jordy Nelson is looking like he can bolster our WR corps to an even greater collection of wideouts if he can continue to have games like he did tonight. There are definitely some positives to take away from this game, especially if you're a fan that didn't think we were going to win this game.

I agree with mostly everything you said.

And Charles Woodson did a amazing job on Owens. And the couple balls Owens had a chance at.. well he dropped.

And yeah.. I think the most frustrating part of the entire game was Miles freakin Austin. Tramon I thought was doing well before he crapped his pants in this game.

I also think we missed Bigby for his ability to make a big hit on Barber. The run defense was a little disapointing tonight.

Also from this game I come to realize that Romo is not a elite quarterback. He is really good, don't get me wrong but the guy has ALL day to throw the ball. (Which is a complinment to the Dallas O line)

Besides that fumble I thought Grant ran the ball the best all year, He needs to get 100% healthy.

I also agree on Jordy Nelson, he is a big dude and when the Packers made the pick I had my doubts but he has played well so far.

Im glad Rodgers didnt make to many bad throws (he did a couple times) but again, he is still a young QB. We need to let A-Rod fling it. Driver,Jennings,Jones,Nelson and Martin are the best group of 5 in the league, they create mis matches on every down. If a team Blitz like crazy like Dallas did just find the one on one coverage and let the WR make the play.

It's weird, but it can probably be legitimately said that 4 of the best 5 or 6 teams in the NFC are in the East this year. At least so far.

Good win for the Titans, though it was one they should have won if they're serious about things this year.

The defense was utterly dominant all day, Schaub was rattled from the first snap. The offense looked okay as Kerry once again managed the game well. He threw a pick, but with as aggressively as Heimerdinger was calling the plays that was no real surprise.

Perhaps I'm overreacting a bit, but are the Titans the best team in the AFC right now? Even if so, I know it won't last all year, but they've looked very good through three games and the normal powers (Colts, Pats, Chargers) have all shown some serious weakness early on. That Super Bowl idea is actually looking more and more like it might be a realistic possiblity each week.

If someone had bet you that between the two, Jeff Smardzjia would be getting really playing time in his sport before Brady Quinn, would have you have taken that bet?

No, but I wouldn't have bet Cleveland was dumb either. Good move, guys. How's that 43.5 QB rating working out for your long-term signed starting signalcaller?

Sounds like Al Harris ruptured his spleen and he'll probably be placed on IR within the next few days.

Well that really hurts. I know Tramon Williams can step up and be a good CB, but I'm worried about our nickel depth and past that. If this means more Jarrett Bush on the field, we're screwed. Philly's been talking about moving Lito Sheppard for the whole offseason, so I hope we at least talk to them about his availability.

Bitter wouldn't describe it well enough. I'm bitter at Miami for stupidly drafting a returner instead of him. I'm incensed at Cleveland for continuing to run this flash in the pan out there. They'll probably give him a chance to suck again against a horrible defense (hello Bengals), and then hopefully make the right move.

Pardon me for being annoyed that the first player with legit star potential to come out of my favorite school since I was conscious enough to care is benched behind a scrub.

No, I didn't miss a step, I just forgot how to count.

I wasn't sure if you had just missed step 4 or if I just completely didn't understand a joke.

Yeah, by the time I realized that my post was more rant-y than I intended it to be I was away from a computer.

But still...Anderson sucks. 8-)

Ruptured spleen? Ouch. That's certainly more serious that the "whole body cramping" they reported throughout the game.

maybe they just meant "bodily functions shutting down"

The weird thing is on ESPN's bottom line, they just said that he's seeking a 2nd opinion on his ruptured spleen. Do you really need a 2nd opinion on that? I'd get it fixed and call it a good year.
