THAT WAS NOT A STRIKE!!!!

I said it yesterday and I'll say it again: a player needs to call out the umps. Not necessarily for getting a bad call against them, but for being inconcistant and calling pitches 6 inches outside strikes.

WTF Looper. Pansy.

What happened?

Looper may or may not have been throwing at Lilly on the first pitch. The Cards announcers sure thought he was, and they also thought Molina ran out there right away to tell him he didn't need to get revenge on Lilly for anything.

What happened?

Looper threw a fastball high for the first pitch. He probably wasn't aiming to hit him (more or less over the middle of the plate, just at Lilly's head level) but it looked like it at least was a message pitch.

Lilly just glared.

I freakin' can't stand the Cardinals but I do kind of like Yadi. After the high tight one to Lilly, Yadi went out to tell Looper to knock it off.

This is another bad strike-zone.

They seem to be getting worse as the season goes on. But only the best get to work the playoffs, right?
