It sure would be great if Soriano breaks out of his most recent slump de jour tonight. What'd think Fonzie? Sound like a good idea?

This team is far too good to keep this up, at some point, this crappy play is going to stop.

Who knows, tonight we may witness a true miracle - Fonzie breaking out and the miraculous part would be Kosuke getting a hit (Len and Bob mentioned he'll likely get a start last night) .

2 games is a slump? Not to mention in the first game of those 2 he walked twice and stole two bases. Last night he hit the ball hard at least once and I think twice. I don't really see a slump.

We need Sam Sianis to come to our rescue again.

Sam Sianis, nephew of Billy Sianis, has been brought out on the field with a goat multiple times in attempts to break the curse: on Opening Day in 1984 and 1989 (the Cubs won the division both years), in 1994 to stop a home losing streak, and in 1998 for the wild card play-in game (which the Cubs won).[3]

Then again, is there any legitamacy to a greek curse regarding a Billy Goat, or did the guy make it up? So hypothetically, someone can bring a monkey to Wrigley field, and if it craps all over the field, it is a good luck charm that will signify a World Title?

The Cubs deserve this for the way they've played lately.

Remove last Saturday and he's something like 4-30 with 1 run since August 30th though he has drawn 5 BB's over that span.

Perhaps, it better to state that beyond last Saturday Soriano hasn't done much the last week+

Wow. This sucks. PPPPPLEASE get back to winning and not this sucking we have been doing. The Brewers are likely winning tonight with CC on the hill, so we need to do work kids.

And after my Accounting Information Systems class this morning, if we start bad I might have alcohol poisoning by the 3rd inning.

i'm pretty sure all those ladies (plus their extended friends, family and acquaintances) were at the water park this past Saturday. The water displacement in the wave pool must have been record-breaking

So why doesn they thread title have either

A. Cobs

B. Losers

C. Inept Losers

I prefer "Gutless Choking Dogs".

Sorry, it's not cool to call the "Cubs" out on their sucky play. After all, the Brewers are sucking too, so that makes the "Cubs" better by default.

Why the hell do our postseason odds go down even when the phillies and brewers lose? down to 98.77% now.

I'm assuming its because the Cardinals and Astros are creeping closer
