I'm not all that sure of the wisdom of keeping Marquis in here, either.

 

He's actually been one of our better starters lately.

 

I think he's near done. Cotts and Shark warming.

The bullpen's been getting worked and I don't expect him to make the playoff roster.

 

I'm fine with it.

 

Rosters are expanded and the Cubs have an offday on Monday. I know the pen threw a lot of innings yesterday but this seems kind of pointless.

 

Howry only threw 9 pitches yesterday. I say give him the ball and let him go.

Yeah, not a big deal at all. 107 pitches with the pen throwing a lot yesterday. At least Lou didn't let him finish this inning and get to 115-120.
