I'm sure Z has rub some people wrong over the yrs, but as the cliche goes a baseball team is like a family You going to like some people, and you are going to rub some people the wrong way, but ultimately they are still family and you will still defend them. Yup. Cause God knows....Zambrano, immediately after one of his tirades, just gimmie a bat and I'll take that weak sob downtown with a laser to left, EVERY TIME! Pinch hit me after Clemens throws a bat at the prior batter, and I bat 1.000.

 

Like it, or not, it is how they pitch/play. Not how they act. Gimmie CrayZ over ValiumZ any day.

Z has a tendency to say stupid things when he's pissed. If I were on his team I would shrug off whatever he said because, judging from his antics on the field, he has trouble controlling his emotions. He was probably more pissed off and frustrated at himself and the team and not really Theriot. And let's face it Z isn't the most mature guy so he is going to get angry in some pretty inapproprate ways. This really isn't that big of an issue mainly because it's not a new thing. It's just Carlos being Carlos.

This is a non-story. Were people really under the impression that these 25 guys were all friends?

I heard a quote from DeRosa recently where he said that he has probably only talked to Zambrano twice since he has been here. Maybe Zambrano is slightly more isolated/cliquey than most, but I agree that we can't expect everyone to be friends and get along at all times.
