They'll break through on offense. Just keep getting guys on base and they'll eventually get through.

 

Lilly will have to limit the damage though.

I know it's baseball but they got a bit unlucky in the 2nd and 4th with two runners on and one out in each inning but with Lilly coming up.

 

Can't really defend the third inning, though. Should have had something there.

Do you suppose Stockton realizes that Soriano wasn't leaping to make the catch, he was just hopping like always?

 

Nope. Stockton probably hasn't watched a Cubs game this year other than those he's announced.

That's a (good) problem you have when your 6-8 hitters are good. Though Soto probably shouldn't bat 8th.

These idiot announcers are only marginally better than Buck/McCarver.

 

They're worse. Karros is probably better than McCarver, but that's a real tallest midget thing.

 

Buck is worlds better than Dick Stockton. Dick Stockton is a pox.
